Denver Market Statistics for July, 2011

Here are the residential real estate market stats for the entire Denver MLS in the month of July.  Keep in mind that the comparisons are from last July which followed the end of the tax credit.  That being said, the Denver market is still showing several indicators of improvement:

Residential Highlights

  • 17.1% Increase in closed sales year over year
  • 17.9% Increase in average days on market (99)
  • 22% Decrease in active listings (14,014)
  • .5% Increase in average sold price ($298,654)

Condo/Townhome Highlights

  • 20.1% Increase in closed sales year over year
  • 17.2% Increase in averages days on market (109)
  • .7% Decrease in average sold price ($153,058)
